A fun and educational Musical Theatre Class for your little ones. In this class, our Junior Stars will learn the foundations dance, singing and acting, and will incorporate some mindfulness and wellbeing discussions and exercises into our disciplines- for example, confidence building, positive affirmations and meditation.
Dramalam Performing Arts classes will generally run during school term times, at approx. 37 classes in the year. Your monthly payment plan will cover classes within a 12 month subscription period.
You may pay for a 2 class trial for your child, before subscribing. Your subscription payment will then come out on the 1st of each month. If you join mid month, you may be subject to a cover payment the following month to cover the mid months class fees. You will be advised after your trial classes and this can be added to your first payment. After this initial payment your class fees will be the same set amount each month.
*FAQs*
Do you do shows/performances?
Yes, all of our students have the opportunity to be a part of our annual performances. There are no additional classes required to do this, and show work will be worked on during our weekly classes. There may be additional rehearsals required near showtime for extra practice.
Do you support children with ASN?
We aim to be as inclusive as possible at our school. It is important for parents and carers to disclose on enrolment, anything they think we may need to know in order to support your child.
Why are trials 2 weeks long?
We don’t believe just one week is long enough to experience our classes. It can be a huge achievement coming to a new class and 2 week trials allow students to feel more comfortable and understand each area of our class, meet their new class mates and teachers/coaches before deciding if they would like to continue.
Why do I need to pay during the school holidays and on months classes aren’t running?
The monthly payment you pay is your Annual Cost of all classes being attended, split into 12 equal monthly payments. This means that payments are still due when holidays occur. This is the easiest and simplest way to pay for your child’s classes.
What if my child no longer wishes to attend Dramalam Performing Arts?
Please give us 1 months notice in writing to our email address admin@dramalamperformingarts.com
You will have 1 more payment to be made, after your notice is given and then your subscription will be cancelled.
Can I pay in a different way?
No. From past experience and research, we have decided that monthly payments are the most practical and easy way for parents to pay. Streamlining our payment options across all classes and venues allows us to keep our processes fair and reduce admin, so as more focus can be given to work in class and to our students.
What will happen if classes have to pause in person due to another Covid-19 lockdown?
If classes at any of our venues have to pause due to any changes driven by Covid-19, we will provide an online alternative to ensure students do not miss out on classes.
Does my child have to wear a uniform?
On enrolling and/or after experiencing our trial classes, it is compulsory for all students to wear our Dramalam Performing Arts uniform to all classes. Our Uniform List is available on request, and will also be sent on completion of trial and point of enrolment.
