No experience required ✨ Hosted by guest coach, Kate McWilliam, this exciting camp will give your wee star a taster of the exciting, very popular world of acro! Scottish acrobat Kate originally trained as a professional dancer. After completing a BA (Hons) in Dance specialising in coaching and choreography Kate moved to London to further her training and focus on acrobatics, graduating three years later with a BA (Hons) in Circus Arts. Performance highlights include being in the cast of award winning contemporary circus show No Show, being a professional acrobat for BBC One’s Tumble, plus a variety of work for MTV, Nike, Sky1 and both the Olympic and Paralympic Torch Relays. As well as performing around the world Kate has been coaching for almost twenty years and has coaching qualifications from both British Gymnastics and Acrobatic Arts. She teaches a variety of classes for dance schools all across the central belt including acrobatics, acrodance, handstands, circus skills and flexibility as well as both preschool and adult classes.
